VNA Master Class: Pulsed Mode Measurements
Pulsed RF Measurements are increasingly important as RF designers need to measure high-power RF Amplifiers on the bench without formidable heat sinking. Circuits meant to operate with pulsed RF drive may need to be evaluated for phase or gain variation vs pulse on-time. This will discuss how to successfully make these measurements under various circumstances with a demonstration using the new S5180B with pulse modulation capability.
