VNA 101 Bootcamp: Using VNAs for High-Speed Digital Applications Webinar

Creating and evaluating high-speed digital designs now requires extensive knowledge of RF principles. Improperly designed power plane systems can couple noise from one section of the design to another. High-speed differential SRDES lines must exhibit proper characteristic impedance, and the sources of reflection must be properly understood. This webinar will address some of these issues and show how a VNA might be used to analyze and improve a high-speed digital design. USB-C and HDMI cables contain multiple high-speed twisted pair conductors. The four pairs in an HDMI cable may be thoroughly analyzed for differential Insertion Loss, Return Loss, and pair-to-pair Near and Far End Crosstalk (NEXT and FEXT) using the new SN5090 16-port VNA from Copper Mountain Technologies.
