Matching Circuit Design
Optenni Ltd. develops the leading professional matching circuit synthesis and optimization software Optenni Lab™ for solving all matching problems in the RF chain within wireless devices. Optenni Lab can optimize broadband, multiband, multiport, and tunable matching circuits for antennas, filters, amplifiers, switches, tuners, and other RF components.
Optenni Lab can be easily interfaced with network analyzers to read measured impedance data from network analyzers and to optimize matching circuits in real-time based on the changing measurement data.
Optenni Lab supports LAN, USB, and GPIB connections to network analyzers. The setting up of the link to network analyzers is extremely simple. When the measurement has been set up, you can examine how the bandwidth potential or electromagnetic isolation changes when the antenna configuration is changed. You can see how the performance through a matching circuit changes and re-optimize the matching circuit as the antenna is changed. These features greatly enhance the productivity of antenna prototyping and measurement activities.
RF designers use Optenni Lab for a wide variety of applications, ranging from antenna matching to NFC system optimization, from multiplexer design to LNA matching. Optenni Lab is commonly used in the design of e.g. the following products:
-
- Portable wireless devices, such as mobile phones, tablets, computers, and cameras
- Base station antennas and WLAN routers
- Car communication systems, access keys, and tire pressure monitors
- Medical equipment, such as hearing aids, MRI scanners, and portable patient monitors
