Subbaiah goes over scalar mixer calibration with a vector network analyzer. In this demonstration, he uses a 14.5 GHz VNA, with a range from 10 MHz to 43.5 GHz. As part of the setup, two cables are connected to the VNA, which are then connected to another VNA as a local oscillator. The calibration in this video uses an SOL calibration kit. Transmission tracking error is monitored with a power sensor. Subbaiah shows you how to adjust the settings in the software prior to calibration, then goes through the calibration process itself.
