First, install the software from the shipped flash-drive or www.coppermountaintech.com on the embedded PXIe controller. The software installation procedure is described in Software Installation.
Install CMT VNA PXIe-S5090 hardware into the PXIe chassis. The hardware installation procedure is described in Hardware Installation.
Configure CMT VNA PXIe-S5090 hardware in MAX.
Warm up the Analyzer for the time stated in its datasheet.
Assemble the test setup using cables, connectors, fixtures, etc., which allow DUT connection to the Analyzer.
Perform calibration of the Analyzer. Calibration procedures are described in Calibration and Calibration Kit.
Operating conditions
1.Operating temperature must correspond to the values specified in the datasheet.
2.Work speed of the PXI chassis fan should be set to the HIGH mode.
3.All filler panels must be installed into PXI chassis to ensure adequate cooling of PXIe-S5090.
